A second try at the Zero to Hero and Pagan Fury acheivements. Might as well try for Indo-Norse too.
Legacy of the Indo-Norse. Failed
As soon as I unpased France declared Holy War on me, followed by Pitou (who is a vassal of France and shouldnt be able to do that). I am forced to convert to Chrstianity.
Brittany declared war on me for Nants and I depleted my treasury fighting them off. Was captured, but instea dof ending the war Brittany cut off my hand and released my so the war I was losing continued until I lost Nates.
Hroduflr Hakon's son still able to raid but Christian joined the Satanists. He formed an alliance with France by marryaig a French princess and joining the French wars in Iberia until he was captured by the Sultan of Margreb. With French aid and mercenaries was able to reclaim Nantes, and take Rennes from Brittany. Defeated a Norman attempt to take Rennes. Hroduflr became High Preist. Captured by the Pope while raiding Rome.
Hroduflr recruited his eledst son for Satan and absorbed the lifeforce of the others before he was poisoned.
Hakon II assisted in a Crusade for Aquitine despite being backdoored by Brittany just before it started. His sister won Leida. After the second attempt by Brttany to take our territory we returned the favor and took Vannes from them. Tok Poher an usurped the kingdom of Brittany. Satan killed my siter giving me Lleida. My daughter married the leader of the Childrens Crusade forcing me to aid it. The Claiph declared holy war for Lleida on me, but the whole Christian world came to my aid. Bcame king of Brittany.
Hakon's son Sverker completed the conquest of Brittany nad joined the assassins
Hakon II returned to raiding. And died heirless fighitng Cordoba.
This was one of the shortest games I've played. Nothing went right. Made almsot no progress towards and of the acheivements. The first two were done when I converted Christianity and it was virtually impossible to get land closer to India.
